Local Fundraiser raises over £800 for conservation

3rd Aug 2026

Last weekend, local fundraiser Katie Cox completed her incredible Walking for Wildlife challenge at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm!  Katie walked an impressive 22km, raised an amazing £820 along the way to support wildlife and conservation!

It’s not too late to support Katie’s fundraising challenge. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so here:

Katie said: “Every year I like to do some fundraising for charities as I like to try and give back and help people. I am very passionate about both animals and raising money, so I couldn’t think of a better place to raise money for this year.”

Katie’s fundraising will help support the animals in our care, as well as the conservation projects and partners we support around the world. This includes helping fund important conservation work such as tracking collars, which are used by conservationists to monitor animals including lions and bears in the wild. Tracking collars provide valuable information about animals’ movements, behaviour and habitats, helping conservationists better understand and protect endangered species.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Katie for taking on such an incredible challenge and to everyone who supported her along the way. Every donation, big or small, helps us continue our mission of connecting people with nature, caring for endangered species and supporting conservation projects both in the UK and across the globe.
