Local Fundraiser Katie Cox Takes on Walk with the Giants Challenge for Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm
2nd Jul 2026
At Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, we are incredibly lucky to have a passionate and supportive community who consistently go above and beyond to help our animals and conservation work. This summer, one of our amazing supporters is doing just that by taking on a walking challenge to raise vital funds for the zoo.
After visiting Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm and meeting our team, Katie was inspired to choose us as her fundraising cause this year.
Katie said: “Every year I like to do some fundraising for charities as I like to try and give back and help people. I am very passionate about both animals and raising money, so I couldn’t think of a better place to raise money for this year. I am very excited to take on the challenge as it’s something I haven’t done before and hope people will help with raising money and creating a fun day.”
Walking for Wildlife
The challenge, which will take place on the 1st August between 11am and 5pm - will see Katie complete multiple laps around Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm in a single day, with every step helping to raise money for the animals in our care and the conservation projects we support around the world.
As well as taking on this incredible walking challenge, Katie is also a talented artist. She will be creating beautiful elephant illustrations inspired by fascinating facts about these remarkable animals. These artworks will help raise awareness of elephant conservation while also thanking supporters for their generosity.
Every donation, big or small, helps Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm continue its mission of connecting people with nature, caring for endangered species, and supporting conservation projects both in the UK and across the globe.
If you are visiting on the day, we would love for you to stop by, offer some encouragement, and, if you are able, make a donation to support this fantastic fundraising effort.
Whether it is cheering from the sidelines, contributing to the fundraising total, or simply spreading the word, every act of support makes a real difference.
From everyone at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, thank you for helping us protect wildlife and inspire future generations of conservationists - and a huge thank you to Katie for taking on this inspiring challenge.
