Elephant Training Demonstration for World Elephant Day 🐘
To celebrate World Elephant Day, our team of keepers are running a special Elephant talk, training demonstration and elephant touch table🐘
📅 Dates: Wednesday 12th August
⏰Time: 13:30
📍Location: Elephant training wall opposite lion habitat
This talk and training demonstration will give our visitors an insight into the daily routines of our elephants. Hear from our team of Keepers as they highlight our bulls and explain the role and importance of elephant bull facilities.
As well as a training demonstration, the team will be showing elephant artefacts!
Taking place as part of our World Elephant Day celebrations, this is a chance to learn more about our elephants, the challenges they face in the wild, and how specialist care and facilities play a vital role in elephant conservation.
Here at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm we are home to the largest elephant facility in the UK, Elephant Eden. The state-of-the-art 20-acre habitat has its own swimming pool, heated indoor barn, sand yards, expansive fields and large willow plantation.
We are home to five African elephants, Janu, Uli, Sutton, Impi and Mchumba.
