Further Education & Research

Here at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm our animals are more than just residents; they are ambassadors for their species and contributors to global conservation. We believe that research is essential to the mission of modern zoos and aquaria. Our collection, with a unique range of species, provides a dynamic environment for researchers to collect data that can supplement field research, inform evidence-based improvements in husbandry and welfare and close critical knowledge gaps in understudied taxa, helping us to protect wildlife both in our care and in the wild.

We welcome applications from further education students who want to conduct research here.

We endeavour to support as many students as we can. However, we do prioritise projects that we believe will enrich our animals and/or support conservation efforts.

We welcome proposals from external researchers and students. While we aim to support a wide range of studies, priority is given to non-invasive projects that align with NAZF and BIAZA research priorities.
