Our bears at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm play dual roles in the realm of conservation. They contribute significantly to the international breeding program, ensuring the protection of the spectacled Bear species. At the heart of our conservation efforts is a groundbreaking project spearheaded by the Spectacled Bear Conservation (SBC). This initiative aims to unravel the mysteries of how wild bears navigate and engage with their habitats in and around the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary. Deploying state-of-the-art GPS tracking collars, each costing $5,000, the project provides a captivating "bear's-eye view" into their daily lives, offering invaluable insights into habitat usage.
