Rain or Shine: Enjoy an Autumn Adventure at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm
26th Oct 2026
Looking for a family day out this autumn? Don't let a little rain put you off! As the days get cooler and the autumn showers roll in, it can be tempting to stay cosy at home. But at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, there’s still plenty to enjoy whatever the weather!
From discovering incredible animals and exploring indoor play areas to enjoying our seasonal Pumpkinfest activities, there are lots of ways to make special family memories, rain or shine.
Make the most of a rainy day
A rainy forecast doesn’t have to mean cancelling your plans. Bring your wellies, wrap up warm and enjoy a different kind of zoo adventure!
When the weather takes a turn, families can head indoors to discover our play areas, including the Rainbow Slide, ArkiVentures and Under 5s Soft Play. It’s a great opportunity for little explorers to burn off some energy while grown-ups take a well-earned breather.
You can also warm up with something delicious from our café before heading back out to see which animals are ready to greet you.
Celebrate autumn with Pumpkinfest!
There’s still time to enjoy the seasonal fun at our annual Pumpkinfest: Poo at the Zoo 2! running until 1 November 2026.
Follow our Poo at the Zoo trail and become a Dung Detective as you uncover fascinating facts about animal poo and its surprising role in nature. Can you solve the clues and discover nature’s missing superpower?
Once you’ve completed your adventure around the Zoo, head over to our Farm Shop to explore the Pumpkin Patch, browse more than 30 varieties of pumpkins and gourds, and capture some lovely autumn family photos.
The Pumpkin Patch is free to enter, so you can even pop along just to pick your perfect pumpkin!
Our Rainy Day Offer: Come back for free!
Sometimes the British weather has other plans, and we understand that rain can affect your day out. That’s why we offer our Rainy Day Guarantee!
If it rains for at least one hour while you’re visiting the Zoo, you could be eligible for a free return visit within 14 days.
Simply visit our Ticket Office to collect your return ticket and provide proof of entry. Our Duty Manager will determine whether the rainfall qualifies under the offer.
Please note that terms and conditions apply. The offer is available on full-price tickets only and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. Group tickets, school visits and other discounted offers are excluded.
