Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm will be joining hundreds of hot air balloons at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta this weekend. In its 35th year, the fiesta is Europe’s largest ballooning event and attracts over half a million visitors each year.
There are four days of colourful displays offering free fun for the whole family from Thursday, August 8 to Sunday, August 11. Over 150 hot air balloons take off (weather permitting!) at 6am and 6pm each day and tethered balloons light up the skies on Thursday and Saturday night for the famous nightglows. Both staff and animals from Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm will be at the fiesta at Ashton Court Estate all day on Saturday and Sunday.
Our huge 8ft-tall elephant model Eden will be joining us to show off our upcoming elephant sanctuary. Eden has had a great summer stomping around the south-west letting people know about the new 20-acre haven. Elephant Eden will be Europe’s largest elephant habitat, offering a stimulating environment for up to 10 elephants. A range of exciting real life animals will also be accompanying Eden to Ashton Court this weekend! Visitors will be able to meet Snuffy the Spotted Eagle Owl and Rupert the Royal Python.
As well as mighty birds of prey and wily reptiles, reindeer and rabbits will be making the short journey over from Noah’s Ark to meet fiesta spectators. Our staff will be on hand to make sure you’re able to get up-close to the animals. You’ll get the chance to enter our competition and win one of our popular Keeper Experiences at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm! You might also spot us walking around the fiesta with the animals meeting visitors and stallholders across the festival. Why not combine an afternoon visit to Noah’s Ark at the fiesta before watching the exhilarating Breitling Wingwalkers aero-acrobatic display at 5pm on Saturday?
