Nature For All
28th Feb 2026
In February, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm launched Nature For All, a new free education programme for home-educated young people aged 11–18.
The response was strong, with all places across both event days (Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th February 2026) fully booked and a waiting list in place.
What the Days Included
Participants spent the day exploring different aspects of animal care and conservation through a mix of practical activities and guided sessions.
This included:
- Creating enrichment for animals
- Workshops and talks with the Education team
- A guided tour of the zoo
The sessions were designed to give a clearer understanding of how a working zoo operates, and what’s involved in caring for animals day-to-day.
Accessibility and Approach
The programme was offered free of charge, including entry for both participants and their accompanying adult, with lunch provided for young people taking part.
All workshops were designed to be accessible, with additional support available where needed. The aim was to make the sessions as inclusive and practical as possible.
Looking Ahead
Following the fully booked launch, more Nature For All sessions are being considered.
Anyone who missed out this time is encouraged to keep an eye on the Home Educator page for future dates.
