Project Carnivora: Coming 2025

Experience the wild like never before

We are excited to announce a brand new project coming to Noah's Ark Zoo Farm that will champion the welfare and conservation of some of the most iconic and threatened carnivores, including African lions, tigers, Arctic foxes, and vultures.

Following the launch of our bold new vision and five-year strategy in 2025, we have commenced works on Project Carnivora. This multi-phased ambitious project has already transformed the existing lion pride’s habitat and create brand-new spaces to welcome threatened carnivore species.

But how are we going to do it?

Phase 1 - COMPLETE

Phase 1 focused on modernising and extending our current lion habitat for Arusha and Tau. This habitat has created more room to roam and  exciting new enrichment opportunities. Visitors have been able to experience new and immersive viewing areas, interactive learning opportunities and new experiences that reflect the pride’s own habitat.

Phase 2 - Rescue Tiger Appeal

The Zoo is fundraising to support Aqua's new beginnings.

Accessibility & Sustainability

As a charity, we are committed to combining exceptional animal care with accessible visitor experiences. Project Carnivora will encompass sensory led learning, tactile discovery and inspiring outdoor education. This ensures that everyone, from families to wildlife enthusiasts, can connect with the wonders of the natural world.

Our dedication to sustainability also shines throughout this project, with eco-friendly building methods, solar-powered energy, and rainwater recycling all part of the plans.

25 Years OF Noah's Ark Zoo Farm & Our Vision

Earlier in the year we celebrated our 25th anniversary by launching a new vision. Project Carnivora is the first of many projects working towards creating a An Ark For All: Wildlife, People & Planet.

How can you help?

Whilst the majority of the project is being funded by Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, we will be calling on your support to raise the final amount needed to build the new tiger habitat and provide a rescued tiger with a new lease of life in its forever home.
