Is the zoo suitable for wheelchairs?

We are working to ensure access for everyone and although Noah's Ark is built on a working farm, most areas are wheelchair accessible. We are now partnered with Bristol's Mobility Centre and now have a limited number of wheelchairs available to reserve for free. We also have mobility scooters for available for a £10 hire charge. In order to secure a mobility scooter for your visit please book in advance online or by calling our friendly team on 01275 852606.

Most of the zoo is wheelchair accessible. However, we are a working farm and therefore there is a mixture of paths, including concrete and gravel.

Did you know that Noah’s Ark Zoo is now a charity?

When you visit Noah’s Ark, you are not only immersing yourself in the world of animals, but you are also helping to protect them and their habitats – both locally and around the world.

As a charity, we rely on visitors and donations to continue our vital work.

Adding a 10% donation to your ticket price will support our vital conservation and education work, as well as maintaining Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm as a place of joy, wonder adventure, and refreshment for generations to come.

AND when you donate, your entire transaction becomes eligible for gift aid*, meaning we can claim an extra 25% on the entire transaction, at no additional cost to you.

Together, we can make a difference for the future of our planet and its wildlife. *If you are a UK taxpayer

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm receives an overwhelming number of donations requests each month from a great number of worthy causes; therefore we have to carefully monitor the number of free entry tickets that are issued to organisations for fundraising events. As a major visitor attraction situated near Bristol, we want to support our local community as much as possible. As a result, tickets will be prioritised to either registered charities or to schools and community groups in the BS, BA, NP, GL, TA and CF postcodes.

Due to the rising postal charges and the huge demand for donations, we ask if you could please send a brief covering letter together with a stamped addressed envelope headed 'Donation Requests'. Unfortunately, we will not be able to send any donations without a stamped addressed envelope.

Only one set of tickets will be allocated to successful organisations in any twelve-month period. All applications will be considered using the above criteria by the last Friday of every month. Successful requests will be sent back by post at the beginning of each month.

We are only able to allow assistance dogs that have been trained by a charity that is a member of Assistance Dogs UK, this is because they have been trained to perform certain tasks for their human partner and will have been thoroughly assessed to ensure they are not a risk to members of the public or other animals at the zoo. No other dogs are permitted in the zoo.

Please do not leave dogs in the car, dogs left in hot cars will be reported to the police.

We ask that asisstance dogs permitted on site are easily identifiable where possible (visible coat or lead). Please do not enter the bird and duck walk through, Wings of Wonder, and try to avoid newborn animals.
