Our Trustees
-
Chris Milner
Chris loves the open space that Noah’s Ark Zoo enjoys, and the sense of peace and calm that such space gives to visitors and residents alike.
Before becoming a Trustee for the Zoo, he established a charitable company in Hexham Northumberland – the Hextol Foundation – with a set of small business which provide a range of work opportunities for people with a learning disability or with poor mental health. With that background, Chris is keen to see the Zoo as a leader in promoting inclusion and the wellness of all – for our visitors and the Zoo’s staff team as well as for our fantastic animal collection.

Nicola Tallet
Nicola is proud to be a Trustee at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, bringing her energy and experience from years of working in the charity world. She’s passionate about causes that make a real difference and loves how the Zoo combines conservation, education, and community in such a unique way.
Nicola cares deeply about inclusion, sustainability, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome—animals and people alike! As a Trustee, she’s here to support the brilliant team, help shape the future of the Zoo, and make sure it stays a place of inspiration, learning, and fun for generations to come.
-
Terri Hill
Terri has been working within the zoological industry since 2010 and is a wild equid specialist. She has also run a livery yard since 1992. Terri is incredibly honoured to be a trustee at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm; her favourite animals at the zoo are, unsurprisingly, the zebras, closely followed by the Highland cows.
Having her own neurodiversities, the zoo’s inclusion policy is something Terri considers one of its highlights, and believes Noah’s Ark is full of amazing animals and people.

Natasha Davies
Natasha moved to Bristol to study Psychology and Zoology and is one of the many alumni who chose to make the city her home before later moving to Kenya to be surrounded by wildlife and pursue a career in community-centred conservation.
Prior to this, she ran a Bristol-based grief counselling charity, with a strong focus on reaching communities across the city - a commitment that aligns closely with Noah’s Ark’s role in providing accessible spaces for people to spend time outdoors and connect with nature and wildlife. Natasha cares deeply about animal welfare and conservation and is passionate about the role Noah’s Ark plays in education and conservation, whilst always striving to achieve the highest possible standards of animal wellbeing
-
Jacky Taylor
Jacky is honoured to share responsibility for the Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm charity. She is particularly proud of our high standards of animal and staff welfare and our award-winning and inclusive visitor experience.
She has a background in law, and understands the importance of consistent regulatory compliance, appropriate risk management and robust practical systems to provide a healthy foundation upon which our varied and exciting activities are built. Favourite animals: elephants. Jacky's favourite plaything: basket swing. Favourite food: homemade cakes!

Guy Walker
Guy is a Chartered Construction Manager who lives in Somerset and who first enjoyed the Zoo with his young family as Season Ticket holders shortly after it opened in the early 2000s.
He has been a trustee of several charities and loves being involved with projects that can develop people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, as well as wanting to support the charity for the long term. His favourite things at the Zoo are the view over the site as you arrive, the lions, the native wildlife, the Play Barn and, of course, the amazing catering on site!
