Support Team Animal Keeper
Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working individual to join our Animal Section Support Team, you will be working across all the zoo on all six animal sections.
This is a complex and rewarding role as such we expect applicants to have knowledge and practical experience of an array of animals. A strong work ethic, good team working and communication skills and the ability to maintain high levels of hygiene are important to the role.
Key aspects of the role:
- To support animal sections with full keeping duties. This includes providing support on days when staffing is low as well as supporting teams to fulfil their collective goals.
- · Deliver encounters and experiences, to our visitors.
- · Drive the company vehicle for collection of resources, e.g., feed and veterinary supplies.
Applicants must:
· A constructive and professional approach that strengthens team culture.
· Have previous keeping experience (2 years minimum ideally).
· To be familiar with the care required for a variety of species.
· Be highly motivated.
· Have high standards of hygiene when working.
· Have a full, manual driving licence.
This is a full-time position working a 40-hour week on a flexible rota (including weekends and bank holidays).
Salary: Level 1 – Level 2 Keeper:
Level 1: £25,792.00 per annum (£12.40 per hour).
Level 2: £26,457.60 per annum (£12.72 per hour).
