The Elephant Keeper Experience
For a once in a lifetime experience, spend two hours with our dedicated elephant keepers and meet our amazing African Elephants.

When is it?
8:15-10:15 am (before the Zoo opens).
Available to book Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Not ready to pick a date? Give a gift voucher and the recipient can choose a time that suits them. Vouchers are valid for one year.
Who is it for?
Participants must be aged 18+.
Maximum of two participants per Experience.
No additional guests are permitted. We are unable to accommodate spectators.
HOW MUCH IS IT?
Single Experience: £399
One participant.
Double Experience: £499
Two participants.
Important Information
Elephant Eden at Noah’s Ark operates a Protected Contact Management System. Therefore, all activities are carried out from behind a protective barrier.
There will be no physical contact and you will not be in the same enclosed area as the elephants at any time during this experience. You will need to have a good level of fitness to participate fully!
Accessibility Information
The Elephant Experience provides exclusive access to behind-the-scenes areas of our elephant habitat. For the safety of both participants and animals, it is important that all guests are able to understand and independently follow instructions from the animal keepers at all times.
Before booking, please consider the following:
- Participants must be aged 18 years or over.
- Participants must be able to independently follow verbal safety instructions and respond appropriately to changing situations.
- The experience involves walking through animal care areas and navigating a variety of surfaces, including stairs, sand, grass, gravel and other uneven ground. A reasonable level of mobility and physical fitness is required.
- The experience takes place behind the scenes in working animal care environments, which may include relatively small indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Due to the nature of the environment and the animals involved, participants must be able to remain calm and follow staff instructions throughout the experience.
