At Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and animals is our top priority. We already have a comprehensive risk assessment and Zoonosis policy in place, which is regularly reviewed and updated in line with industry guidance.
We also provide fully equipped hand washing stations by every animal contact area, supported by clear signage and regular reminders to encourage thorough hand hygiene — a key measure in preventing the spread of zoonotic infections like cryptosporidium.
In light of the recent outbreak in Glamorgan, we have reviewed our existing protocols to ensure they continue to meet the highest standards. While we have not been directly affected, we are taking this opportunity to reinforce hygiene messaging to visitors with new pictorial signage and carry out additional checks on our facilities to provide added reassurance.
