Do I need to stay with my child whilst on-site?

All children aged 16 or younger must be accompanied onto site by an adult. During the workshop sessions, adults may leave their child but remain within the zoo grounds.

Anyone who is currently being home educated aged 11- 18.

Places for 11-18 year old participants are free. Each participant must be accompanied by an adult who will also get free admission. Any additional adults can be booked at the discounted educational rate of £9.35

Workshop places are for 11-18 year olds only. If you wish to bring a younger child, they are welcome to visit the zoo at the discounted educational rate of £9.35 but will not be able to participate in the workshop programme.

Yes, all workshops have been designed to be wheelchair friendly and accessible. If your child has any additional requirements, please let us know on the booking form so that we can help facilitate the needs of all learners.

We are offering a free lunch for the programme participants. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking your place. Younger siblings and accompanying adults do not qualify for a free lunch but can enjoy 10% off food and drinks in the café.
