Pumpkin Fest is back!
From 9th – 31st October, Pumpkin Fest returns, turning the Zoo Farm and Farm Shop Autumnal bright orange.
There will be a pick your own pumpkin patch populated with pumpkins planted and grown on site from Elephant poo! With over a thousand homegrown pumpkins to choose from, there is plenty for everyone.
Pumpkin Fest will also feature special Bug Talks over the half term period from 25th – 29th October where you can discover more about your favourite little critters. Find out how many teeth a snail has; where Sun Beetles come from and even how long a Hissing Cockroach can live without its head!
Noah’s Ark’s Top Trumps trail also continues with vibrant Autumnal colours and a free limited-edition card to celebrate the event; the Giant African Land Snail, available on entry between 1st – 31st October. Follow the trail to discover which of our animals eat insects, which are the smelliest and of course which are the rarest.
Bugs are even making an appearance in the newly relaunched ‘Great British Wildlife Maze’ With new fun Minibeast facts in our ‘Great British Mini Maze’. There’ll also be fabulous pumpkin themed foods and treats at the Food Barn and Farm Shop, so don’t forget to stop off for some tasty snacks!
