We are supporting local wildlife at the zoo.
A BioBlitz, is an intense period of biological surveying in an attempt to record all the living species within a designated area.
From Monday 19th - Friday 23rd August we’re holding a series of activities to support our local wildlife. Why not bring your little ones to take part in our fun wildlife spotting activities? You can enjoy all our exotic species around the zoo and do your bit to support our local residents that really need your help!
The zoo will be opening its conservation area to give budding researchers the opportunity to survey our local wildlife under the supervision of our dedicated staff. Join the team for pond dipping and bug hunting at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and record what you find!
Please note, there is a maximum of 8 spaces per session and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis on the day. Don't forget to wear suitable footwear as it could be muddy!
