Community at Noah's Ark

At Noah's Ark Zoo Farm we are passionate about including and involving our local community. As a multi-award-winning large visitor attraction in Wraxall, Bristol, we aim to support our community by providing a great family day out as well as celebrating our region.

Jungle Tots, parent and toddler group

Jungle Tots is a Parent and Toddler Group for under 5s! Jungle Tots gives under 5's a fun morning including soft play, crafts, animal handling and storytime.

Every Jungle Tots session provides a fun and sociable place for children and adults to meet and make friends. There’s always time for play in the Jungle Den soft play area, a craft activity, story time and a chance to meet one of our friendly animals!

10.30am – 12.00pm every Monday and Wednesday during term time (excluding Bank Holidays).

Community Outreach

If you can’t make it to the zoo, then let us bring the zoo to you!

Our Education Team can provide visits at a venue of your choice.

Sessions outside the zoo include some of our smaller animals and we can bring animal artefacts, such as skins, bones, skulls and teeth to support learning.

We offer a range of workshops which are educational and fun, or alternatively we can create a bespoke session based on your needs and requirements.

We can cater for any establishment or group who would like a visit from us including: schools, nurseries, care homes, scout and brownie groups, fun days, church groups, corporate groups, prisons and many more! You may be after a fun treat or a more educational experience; we can cater for both.

Prices depend on distance from the zoo and length of session.

Community Events

Special Community Events

Coming soon for September 2022! Our community events aim to engage our local visitors. Keep an eye on our website for updates coming soon!

Chritmas at Noah's Ark

Every Christmas we like to put on traditional Christmas activities from Carol Singing to Nativities. We would love to hear from you if you would like to put on a Nativity here, whether you are a girl guiding group, church, or community group.

In December we also aim to combat loneliness by providing special offers to the elderly. In the past this has included free entry to over 70’s and festive lunches at the zoo.

Did you know we sell locally grown Christmas trees in our Farm Shop and offer Christmas tree recycling at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm? In association with North Somerset Council we offer a popular Christmas tree recycling in January.

Donations to local charities

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm receives an overwhelming number of donations requests each month from a great number of worthy causes; therefore we have to carefully monitor the number of free entry tickets that are issued to organisations for fundraising events. As a major visitor attraction situated near Bristol, we want to support our local community as much as possible. As a result, tickets will be prioritised to either registered charities or to schools and community groups in the BS, BA, NP, GL, TA and CF postcodes.

Due to the rising postal charges and the huge demand for donations, we ask if you could please send a brief covering letter together with a stamped addressed envelope headed 'Donation Requests'. Unfortunately, we will not be able to send any donations without a stamped addressed envelope.

Only one set of tickets will be allocated to successful organisations in any twelve-month period. All applications will be considered using the above criteria by the last Friday of every month. Successful requests will be sent back by post at the beginning of each month.

Collaboration with Charities

Work with local charities and organisations

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm work with local charities and organisations. From planting purple crocuses, for  Purple for Polio with the Rotary club, to collection tins in our retail and catering outlets for the local children’s hospice.
