We had a great end to the summer with our Primate Weekend! During the weekend staff and visitors got involved with fundraising activities including face painting, games and educational talks to raise vital funds for Kalaweit.
Kalaweit is an important conservation charity who safeguard Gibbons and their Habitat in Indonesia. They protect rainforests across the region including on the islands of Borneo, Sumatra and Java as well as recovering and rehabilitating illegally held Gibbons.
The event raised close to £900 which is enough to buy approximately 2.5 acres of Rainforest in Borneo with Kalaweit.
