Whatever the weather, there’s lots to do at Noah’s Ark

We have lots for families to do both indoors and outdoors, so don’t let the rain keep you cooped up in the house!

Inside and under cover

Animals
Inside we have the new Animal Village, a model village home to our rabbits, guinea pigs, chicks, lambs, ferrets and chipmunks. Complete with post office and church, the animals love to explore the different small buildings! Children and adults may handle the animals during handling times which take place frequently throughout the day. Also new in 2006 are the Show Pens, a large barn featuring friendly larger animals - Lance the Llama, Jessie the Jersey, and Amy the Ankole to name a few.

Hot spots on chilly days
The monkey house and reptile house are both heated buildings to keep the animals (and visitors!) toasty warm. The Noah’s Ark Exhibition is also heated, warm up with a coffee and learn about the construction and history of Noah’s Ark with our scale model.

Adventure playgrounds
Let off some steam inside our large play barns - Arkiventures and the Ark Arena. Adventure playground courses to climb on and swing on; trampolines to spring and bounce on; drop slides, wave slides and deep, dark tube slides to speedily swoosh your way down!
