Visitors with disabilities

We are working to ensure access for everyone, and although Noah’s Ark is built on a working farm, the majority of areas are wheelchair accessible. We have a number of wheelchairs available to hire for free, please phone to book.

Our Animal Shows take place in the Ark Arena which has a hearing induction loop installed. We also have a loud, clear PA system and make use of visual aids and illustrations.

Additionally we have painted picnic tables, highlighted steps and high contrast signs for visitors with sight disabilities.

Cafe and Kiosk

We have a wonderful Cafe serving healthy lunches, delicious ice creams, hot and cold drinks and an array of snacks. The kiosk (found in the Ark Arena) also has a variety of drinks and snacks available.

Gift Shop

Inside the farm courtyard we have a gift shop with hundreds of wonderful gift ideas. From pocket-money priced mementos of your day out at the zoo, to unusual, creative gift ideas: how about adopting a White Rhino for Father’s Day?

Lots of animal related products including animal face masks, and beanie baby soft toys.

The gift shop also stocks all the essentials: Disposable cameras, films and batteries, just in case!
