Make the most of your visit by attending one of our keeper talks. Delivered by our animal experts, these sessions give pupils the chance to learn more about the animals in our care, their natural behaviours and the work involved in looking after them.

Not sure where to start? Our example itineraries can help you make the most of your time at the zoo, with suggestions for exploring the animals, attending talks, taking part in educational activities and enjoying our play areas.
Curriculum-linked learning
Our education workshops are designed to complement classroom learning and link to the National Curriculum. Sessions take place in our dedicated indoor classroom and give pupils the opportunity to learn through discussion, observation and hands-on activities.
Plus huge indoor and outdoor adventure playgrounds, alongside spacious picnic areas for pupils to relax and refuel!
Tractor Rides
Make your journey around the zoo part of the adventure with a fun and educational tractor ride.
£30 per ride
Duration: 20–30 minutes
Capacity: Up to 31 people, including adults and children
Wheelchair space: Maximum capacity of 28 people when a wheelchair space is required.
