Yes. Our Changing Places facility can be accessed using a RADAR key. If you don't have one with you, please speak to a member of our team who will be happy to assist.

Children under 2 receive free admission, so a free essential carer ticket is not available alongside an under 2 ticket on its own. However, if the child is visiting with at least one paying guest and requires an essential carer due to a disability or additional need, we are happy to provide a free essential carer ticket alongside the paying visitor(s).

If you're unsure whether your booking qualifies, please contact our team before your visit and we'll be happy to help.

Yes. We recognise the invaluable role that young carers play. If a young person is the primary carer for a disabled visitor, they are welcome to attend alongside them as the free essential carer. We do not have a minimum age for young carers, although we recommend that parents or guardians consider whether the young person is able to undertake caring responsibilities safely during the visit.

Yes! We offer free guest Wi-Fi in several locations around the zoo. As we're based in a rural location, mobile phone signal can be poor, so our Wi-Fi hotspots can help you stay connected during your visit. If you need help accessing the Wi-Fi, just ask a member of our team.

We understand the important comfort and reassurance that emotional support animals can provide. However, due to the welfare of our animals and the safety of all our visitors, only trained assistance dogs are permitted to enter the zoo.

Assistance dogs must be trained to support a disabled person and meet our assistance dog policy. If you're planning to visit with an assistance dog, we recommend reading our Assistance Dogs guidance before your visit.

If you have any questions about accessibility or would like to discuss your individual needs, please contact our friendly team before your visit. We'll always do our best to support you and help make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
