Visitors with disabilities

We are working to ensure access for everyone, and although Noah's Ark is built on a working farm, the majority of areas are wheelchair accessible. We have a number of wheelchairs available to hire for free, please contact us to book.

Our Animal Shows take place in the Ark Arena which has a hearing induction loop installed. We also have a loud, clear PA system and make use of visual aids and illustrations.

Additionally we have painted picnic tables, highlighted steps and high contrast signs for visitors with sight disabilities.

Cafe and Kiosks

We have a wonderful Cafe serving healthy lunches, delicious ice creams, hot and cold drinks and an array of snacks.

The majority of the food is sourced locally and fair trade food is also promoted and available. In 2010 the Cafe won an award for cleanliness and service.

We also have other kiosks serving ice cream and hot and cold drinks and snacks at the Watering Hole by the Big Cats and in the Arkiventures Inside Play Area.

Gift Shop

Inside the farm courtyard we have a gift shop with hundreds of wonderful gift ideas. From pocket-money priced mementos of your day out at the zoo, to unusual, creative gift ideas plus Noah's Ark branded souvenirs such as postcards and clothing to take home with you to remember your visit.

There is also many animal related products including animal face masks and wide range of soft toys.

The gift shop also stocks all the essentials: Disposable cameras, films and batteries.

Dogs and other pets

Unfortunately dogs and pets except Assistance Dogs are not permitted.
