Eddie

The Eurasian Eagle-Owl is one of the largest owls in the world.

They are active mainly at dusk till dawn. Flight is noiseless, with soft wing-beats. Owls have excellent night vision. They rotate their heads through 360° to see sideways. Their feathers are uniquely soft for silent flight.

The major part of their diet consists of mammals (voles, rats, mice, foxes, hares). Other prey taken include snakes, lizards, frogs, fish, and crabs.
