Jungle Tots

Jungle Tots Parent and Toddler Group meets from 10.30am to 12noon every Monday during term time.

Each session has time for free play in the Jungle Den soft play area, a themed activity (craft, story time or similar) and the chance to meet an animal.

Price includes entry to the toddler group in the morning and entry to the rest of the zoo in the afternoon. The group is free to season ticket holders. Free squash and biscuits are provided for the children.

Opening Times, Admission and Other Information

Monday mornings during term-time. 10:30am - 12pm.

This group is free to Season Ticket Members.

Price: £10 entry for 1 parent and 1-2 children. Additional children will be charged at £3 each. This price includes entry to the zoo and the toddler group. No prior booking required.

Weekly Themes- Summer 2013

Look out for some surprise animal visitors during these sessions!

8th April:

Step into Summer– Start off the new summer term by making a tropical foam fish magnet to take home and put on the fridge.

15th April:

Felt key rings or bag tags- Make your own felt key ring or bag tag in the shape of one of the fantastic animals at the zoo.

22nd April:

Feathery collage craft- Create a parrot collage made from brightly coloured feathers.

29th April:

Bouncy Pom Pom Butterflies- Make a beautiful butterfly that bounces in the breeze, to brighten up the garden.

13th May:

Fancy Plant Pots- Decorate your own plant pot and then add compost and seeds and see what grows!

20th May:

Paper windmills and sandcastles- Make and decorate a colourful windmill that spins in the wind and hold it in place with a paper cup sandcastle.
