We Welcome & Inspire

What we are doing

1. Extending our Ark for All programme

We are continuing to build on our Ark for All programme, strengthening our commitment to being one of the UK’s leading accessible and inclusive attractions. Through ongoing improvements to our infrastructure, facilities, staff training and team culture, we aim to create a welcoming environment where every visitor feels supported, valued and able to enjoy a memorable day out at Noah’s Ark.

2. Expanding our education programme

We are committed to growing and strengthening our education programme, creating more opportunities for children, young people and adults to learn about wildlife, conservation and the natural world. We are expanding our work with schools, home educators, community groups and other organisations through engaging, hands-on experiences at the zoo.

A key focus is developing new education spaces, including an outdoor learning area, alongside curriculum-linked workshops, outdoor learning, outreach and home education activities. These experiences will bring learning to life through direct engagement with animals, wildlife and conservation.

Through these developments, we aim to make education at Noah’s Ark more accessible, inclusive and impactful, inspiring people to connect with nature and helping develop the next generation of conservationists.

3. Next level visitor experience and becoming the UK’s leading zoo for playfulness

We are committed to creating a visitor experience that feels welcoming, engaging and full of WOW from the moment you arrive. This includes developing our visitor welcome, signage and interpretation displays, alongside exciting new programmes and experiences that bring our animals, conservation work and unique sense of playfulness to life. We will also continue to enhance our catering, retail, play areas and public facilities, ensuring every part of a visit feels enjoyable, accessible and memorable for all ages.

4. Reaching out

Reaching out to new audiences through a new community engagement strategy, using our natural environment to inspire and improve the wellbeing of all who come to us, and our own staff and volunteers.
5. Research & Further Education

Research plays a vital role in our mission to protect wildlife and inspire future conservationists. By supporting students, universities and researchers, we help improve animal welfare, deepen our understanding of wildlife and contribute to conservation efforts both here at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm and around the world. If you'd like to be part of this work, we welcome research proposals that align with our conservation and animal welfare goals.
